Hi. I'm Edward Parker, I started fishing around the age of 8 years old. I was introduced to fishing by a sweet old lady from my neighborhood. She taught me how and where to dig for worms to use on my twenty foot cane pole with a small cork bobber. We would fish for slab crappies and huge bluegills almost everyday, it seemed. It was then that my passion grew for the love of fishing. After she died and I grew older, I started to hang with the big boys who were bass fishing on 10ft jon boats. I didn't know much about bass fishing at the time, but after a few outings and my fish Hawg (I thought), I was hooked. I guess you can say that I inherited my life long love for fishing from my family and friends that took the time to share their passion with me. I am now a tournament angler with the same passion and get great pleasure from networking and sharing information with other anglers to help them grow there competitive skills, like me, on the local, national, and regional level were I continue to hone my bass fishing education.
